[1] Nissaggiya pācittiya has two parts: nissaggiya related items should be discharged, pācittiya is guilty of treatment. This phrase has been interpreted by the seniors as "a sin of confession ." [2] Aḍḍhāḷhakodanaṃ = Aḍḍha-āḷhaka-odanaṃ . Aḍḍha is half, āḷhaka is a measure of volume, odanaṃ is cooked rice. Mahāsamaṇa Chao said that " rice is cooked from ½ āḷhaka rice " and is in accordance with Buddhaghosa's explanation.
