[10] At the time, not far from the city of Vesālī there was the village of Kalanda. In that place, there was a rich son named Sudinna Kalandaputta. [1] At that time, Sudinna Kalandaputta went to Vesālī with many friends due to some work he needed to do. At the time, the Blessed One, surrounded by a large assembly, was sitting preaching Dharma. Sudinna Kalandaputta saw the Blessed One surrounded by a large audience sitting preaching the Dharma. After seeing Sudinna Kalandaputta suggested this: [2] " Or should we listen to the Dharma as well ?" At that time, Sudinna Kalandaputta went near to the assembly, after arriving, he sat down on one side. When he sat down on one side, Sudinna Kalandaputta suggested this: "As far as we understand the Dharma that has been preached by the Buddha, it is not an easy thing for people living in the family to practice virtue fully and completely as clean as shells. shave clearly. Or should we shave off our hair, put on robes, leave the monk's house and live ? ” Then, when the Blessed One taught, awakened, encouraged, and created excitement with Dharma talks, the congregation rose up from their seats, bowed to the Blessed One, directed the right shoulder around, and leave. Later, when the assembly had stood up not long ago, Sudinna Kalandaputta went to see the Blessed One, after having paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down at one side. When sat down on one side, Sudinna Kalandaputta said to the Blessed One:
- Bach himself, as far as I understand the Dharma preached by the Buddha, it is not an easy thing for people living in the family to practice virtue in a complete and completely pure way. like the shells are scraped clean. Bach himself, I want to shave off my hair, put on the robes of medicine, leave the home of a monk living at home. Please, Lord Ton, make a monk ordination for me.
- Sudinna, so have you received permission from your mother and father to leave home and leave home?
- Bach Sir, I have not received permission from my mother and father to leave home and leave home.
- Sudinna, the Tathagata does not (ordain) ordained a son without permission from the mother and father.
- Sir, how will you and my father allow me to leave home and leave home, I will do it that way.
[11] Later, when he had finished his work in Vesālī, Sudinna Kalandaputta went back to Kalanda village to see his mother and father, after coming to him, he told him:
- Mother and father, as far as I understand the Dharma preached by the Blessed One, it is not easy to do for people living in the family to practice the virtue fully and completely. clean as a snail shell is scraped clean. I want to shave off my hair, put on robes, leave the monk's life and leave home. Allow me to leave home and leave home.
When told that, Sudinna Kalandaputta's mother and father told Sudinna Kalandaputta this:
- Sudinna dear, you are the only and dearest son of your mother and father, raised in happiness, and cared for carefully. Dear Sudinna, I don't know anything about suffering. Only with death will the mother and father have to reluctantly leave their children; How can I live while leaving home while my mother and father allow me to leave home as a renunciate?
For the second time, Sudinna Kalandaputta told his mother and father this:
- Mother and father, as far as I understand the Dharma preached by the Blessed One, it is not easy to do for people living in the family to practice the virtue fully and completely. clean as a snail shell is scraped clean. At that time, Sudinna Kalandaputta (thinking): " Mother and father will not allow us to leave home and leave home !" and then laid down on that spot on the untouched ground (saying):
- For me, either death right here, or renunciation.
Then, Sudinna Kalandaputta did not eat one meal, did not eat two meals, did not eat three meals, did not eat four meals, did not eat five meals, did not eat six meals, did not eat seven meals.
[12] At that time, Sudinna Kalandaputta's mother and father told Sudinna Kalandaputta this:
- Sudinna, dear, you are the only and dearest son of your mother and father, raised in happiness, and cared for carefully. Dear Sudinna, I don't know anything about suffering. Only with death will the mother and father have to reluctantly leave their children; How can I live while leaving home while my mother and father allow me to leave home as a renunciate? Sudinna dear, stand up, eat, drink, and play. While eating, while drinking, while playing, while enjoying sex, while doing good deeds, can you please, mother and father not allowing your children to leave the monastic life? home.
When told that, Sudinna Kalandaputta was silent.
To the second, ... (as above) ...
For the third time, Sudinna Kalandaputta's mother and father told Sudinna Kalandaputta this:
- Sudinna, dear, you are the only and dearest son of your mother and father, raised in happiness, and cared for carefully. Dear Sudinna, I don't know anything about suffering. While eating, while drinking, while playing, while enjoying sex, while doing good deeds, can you please, mother and father not allowing your children to leave the monastic life? home.
For the third time, Sudinna Kalandaputta was silent.
[13] Afterwards, the friends of Sudinna Kalandaputta went to see Sudinna Kalandaputta, after coming to Sudinna Kalandaputta told this:
- Dear Sudinna, you are the only and dearest son of your mother and father, raised in happiness, and cared for carefully. Dear Sudinna, you don't know anything about suffering. To the second, ... (as above) ...
For the third time, the friends of Sudinna Kalandaputta told Sudinna Kalandaputta this:
- Sudinna hey, you are ... (as above) ...
For the third time, Sudinna Kalandaputta was silent.
At that time, the friends of Sudinna Kalandaputta went to see the mother and father of Sudinna Kalandaputta, and after saying this, told the mother and father of Sudinna Kalandaputta:
- Mom and dad, this Sudinna lay on the ground without coverings (saying): " For me, either death right here, or renunciation ." If his mother and father would not allow Sudinna to leave home, he would go to his death on the spot. Besides, if Mom and Dad allow Sudinna to leave home and leave home, Mom and Dad will still see him even after being ordained. If Sudinna was not content to leave the monk's house and live at home, what else would he have left? He will return right here. Mom and dad allow Sudinna to leave home and leave home.
- The children, mother and father allowed Sudinna to leave home and leave home.
[14] Afterwards, the friends of Sudinna Kalandaputta went to see Sudinna Kalandaputta, who told Sudinna Kalandaputta this:
- Dear Sudinna, please stand up. You have received permission from your mother and father to leave home and leave home.
Then, Sudinna Kalandaputta (thinking): " I have been told that my mother and father have allowed me to leave home and leave home to live " so I was happy and excited, standing up and wiping my hands with my hands. After a few days, Sudinna Kalandaputta regained his health and went to see the Blessed One, after having paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down at one side. When sat down on one side, Sudinna Kalandaputta said to the Blessed One:
- Sir, I have received permission from my mother and father to leave home and leave home. Bach himself, ask the Blessed One (to celebrate) renunciation for me.
Then Sudinna Kalandaputta gained the renunciation in the presence of the Blessed One, attaining the higher level. Not long after he had been cultivated to the upper level, Venerable Sudinna had maintained and practiced the venerable virtues of this form: the one who dwells in the forest, the one who specializes in alms, the wearer of y paṃsukūla , [ 3] is the alms round sequentially house by house. Virtue has relied on a certain village in the land of Vajjī.
[15] At that time, the country of Vajjī had difficulty with real things, miserable life, raging plagues (setaṭṭhikā), real objects were distributed according to the cards, not easily living by alms seeking . At that time, the Venerable Sudinna suggested this: “ At present, Vajjī has difficulty with plants, life is hard, epidemics are ragged, plants are distributed according to the cards, not easy to live by. the alms effort. Besides, many of our relatives in the city of Vesālī are rich, have many possessions, many possessions, countless gold and silver, countless objects, and abundant rice, or should we depend on kin? Moreover, because it is related to us, our relatives will offer offerings, will do good deeds, and the bhikkhus will receive benefits and we will not have trouble with alms food.. " After that, Venerable Sudinna arranged for the seat, took the bowl of medicine, and left for Vesālī. While sequentially traveling, great virtue reached Vesāl đã. At that place in the city of Vesālī, Venerable Sudinna resided in Mahāvana, the lecture hall of Kūṭāgāra.
The retinue of Venerable Sudinna heard: " It is said that Sudinna the son of Kalanda has come to Vesālī ." They brought alms to Sudinna a meal of sixty rice cookers. At that time, the Venerable Sudinna divided the sixty rice cooker to the bhikkhus, then in the morning, dressed in robes, took the robes, went to Kalanda village to beg for alms, while going from house to house to beg for alms to his father's house. At the time, the maidservant of Venerable Sudinna's intention to dump the sour porridge was left in the night. At that time, Venerable Sudinna said to the maidship of his relatives:
- Hey sister, if that item needs to be dumped, then dump it here in my bowl.
At that time, while pouring the sour soup that had been left that night in the bowl of Venerable Sudinna, the maid of the family of Venerable Sudinna recognized the characteristics of the arms, the feet, and the voice (of Venerable Sudinna). [4] Afterwards, the maidservant of Venerable Sudinna went to see the Venerable Sudinna's mother, and after having come told the Venerable Sudinna's mother this:
- Lady, you should know that Prince Sudinna has returned.
- Hey slave, if you are right, I will give you from servant life.
At that time, Venerable Sudinna (sat) leaned against the foot of the wall and ate the sour soup that was left that night. And the father of Venerable Sudinna, while on the business trip, saw the Venerable Sudinna (sitting) leaning against the foot of the wall and enjoying the sour porridge left that night, after seeing it, he went near Venerable Sudinna, after coming, told Venerable Sudinna this:
Hey Sudinna, could you eat the sour porridge left overnight? Hey Sudinna dear, or should you go to your own home?
- Hey homeowner, I've already gone to your house. From that place I got the sour porridge left this night.
At that time, the father of Venerable Sudinna took the hand of Venerable Sudinna and said to Venerable Sudinna:
- Sudinna, please go. We will go home.
Afterwards, Venerable Sudinna went to his father's house, and after arriving, he sat down on the assigned seat. At that time, the father of Venerable Sudinna said to Venerable Sudinna:
- Sudinna, eat.
- Hey home owner, stop it. My real life today is complete.
Hey Sudinna, so accept the meal tomorrow.
Venerable Sudinna accepted the invitation in silence. After that, Venerable Sudinna got up from his seat and left.
[16] Later, after spending that night the mother of Venerable Sudinna covered the ground with fresh cow dung and told him to pile in two piles of gold and silver. The piles were so large that the man standing on one side did not see the man standing on the other side, and the man standing on the other side did not see the man standing on this side. After covering the heaps with rugs, arranging seats in the middle, and covering the surrounding curtains, the mother of Venerable Sudinna told Sudinna's ex-wife:
Hey, daughter-in-law, so when you wear makeup with any jewelry that you have been loved by Sudinna's son, then make-up with that jewelry.
- Mom, yes. The ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna answered the Venerable Sudinna's mother.
Later in the morning, Venerable Sudinna dressed in a robes, took the robes of the bowls, and went to his father's house, after arriving, he sat down on the assigned seats. At that time, the father of Venerable Sudinna went to see Venerable Sudinna, and after opening, he opened these two piles and told Venerable Sudinna:
- Sudinna dear, this part is the dowry of the woman is the mother and child, the other part is the father, the other part is the grandfather. Dear Sudinna, you can return to mediocre home life to enjoy the riches and do the good deeds. Hey Sudinna, please come back. Return to mediocre home life, enjoy the riches, and do good deeds.
- Father, I cannot, I cannot (do that). I am delighted to practice Pham Hanh.
To the second, ... (as above) ...
On the third occasion, the father of Venerable Sudinna told Venerable Sudinna this:
- Sudinna dear, this part is the dowry of the woman is the mother and child, the other part is the father, the other part is the grandfather. Dear Sudinna, you can return to mediocre home life to enjoy the riches and do the good deeds. Hey Sudinna, please come back. Return to mediocre home life, enjoy the riches, and do good deeds.
Hey owner, if the owner is not angry then we should discuss it.
- Dear Sudinna, please speak.
-This homeowners, if so then let him make very large sacks, for people to fill in gold and silver, for people to put on the trailer, then sink in the middle of the river Gaṅgā. What is the reason? Hey homeowner, because that word is the cause of your fear, or your terror, or your hair up, or your guard; that will not be for you anymore.
When told that, the father of Venerable Sudinna was unhappy:
- Why does Sudinna's son say that?
Afterwards, the father of Venerable Sudinna told the ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna that:
- Daughter-in-law, if so then you are the beloved, maybe son Sudinna will do as I say.
At that time, the ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna embraced the feet of Venerable Sudinna and said to Venerable Sudinna:
- Dude, how are those fairies making you practice Pham virtue for them?
- Sister, I practice Pham Hanh not for fairies.
At that time, the former wife of Venerable Sudinna (thinking): " From now on, Prince Sudinna addressed me in his sister's voice ", he fainted and fell down on the spot. Then, Venerable Sudinna told his father this:
-This homeowners, if real things will be alms then please alms. Don't bother us any more.
- Sudinna, eat.
At that time, the mother and father of Venerable Sudinna personally satisfied and satisfied Venerable Sudinna with high quality soft hard food. Later, when Venerable Sudinna finished eating the hand that left the bowl, Venerable Sudinna's mother said to Venerable Sudinna:
- Sudinna loves, this family is rich, has many possessions, many possessions, countless gold and silver, countless objects, and abundant rice. Dear Sudinna, you can return to mediocre home life to enjoy the riches and do the good deeds. Hey Sudinna, please come back. Return to mediocre home life, enjoy the riches, and do good deeds.
- Mom, I can't, I can't (do that). I am delighted to practice Pham Hanh.
To the second, ... (as above) ...
On the third occasion, the mother of Venerable Sudinna told Venerable Sudinna this:
- Sudinna loves, this family is rich, has many possessions, many possessions, countless gold and silver, countless objects, and abundant rice. Hey Sudinna, because of that you should leave the seed. Do not let the Licchavi take our non-heirs.
- Mom, this I can do.
- Dear Sudinna, where do you live now?
- Mother, in Mahāvana.
After that, Venerable Sudinna got up from his seat and left.
[17] Later, the mother of Venerable Sudinna told Sudinna's ex-wife:
Hey daughter-in-law, if so then when your period, menstruation appears, then let me know.
- Mom, yes. The ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna answered the Venerable Sudinna's mother.
Shortly thereafter, the ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna came to the period, she had menstruation. At that time, the ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna said to Venerable Sudinna's mother this:
- Mom, I have reached the period, my menstrual period has appeared.
Hey, daughter-in-law, then I was loved by Sudinna's son when he adorned with any jewelry, (now) make up with that jewelry.
- Mom, yes. The ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna answered the Venerable Sudinna's mother.
Afterwards, the mother of Venerable Sudinna took the former wife of Venerable Sudinna to Mahāvana to meet Venerable Sudinna, and after having told Venerable Sudinna,
- Sudinna loves, this family is rich, has many possessions, many possessions, countless gold and silver, countless objects, and abundant rice.
Then took the hand of the ex-wife into Mahāvana (forest). While the study has not been prescribed, he was not aware of the dangers, so he conducted the couple with his ex-wife three times. Because of that, she was pregnant.
[18] The devas on earth were rumored to say, " Lord, the Bhikkhu khưu congregations really do not have impurity, do not get scandal, now Udinna Kalandaputta has caused filth, has caused what scandal ! ” After hearing the rumors of gods on earth, the gods in the four heavenly kingdoms were rumored to say: ... (as above) ... gods in the Dao Loi realm ... (as above) ... gods in Da Ma realm ... (as above) ... gods in the realm of Power ... (as above) ... gods in the Hoa Lac Thien realm ... (as above). .. gods in Tha Hoa Tu Dat ... (as above) ... gods of Brahma were rumored to say, " Sir, the Bhikkhu khưu actually have no impurity. scandalous things, now Udinna Kalandaputta has caused filth, has caused scandal! ” At that moment at that moment, such rumor went to the Brahma realms.
Later, when the fetus was fully developed, Sudinna's ex-wife gave birth to a son. At that time, the friends of Venerable Sudinna named the boy " Bījako (Immortal), " named the ex-wife of Venerable Sudinna " Bījakamātā (Mother of the Deathly Father), " and Naming the great virtue Sudinna is " Bījakapitā (Father of the Deaths). After some time, both of them left home and left home to live [5] and attained Arahantship.
[19] Later, Venerable Sudinna initiated a repentance, arousing regret: " It is not beneficial to me!" What a benefit it didn't have for me! I have achieved evil! I have not achieved good! Because we have ordained in the Dharma and the Law is so cleverly preached, so we cannot practice pure conduct completely until the end of our life! Because of that repentance and because of that regret, he has become thin, barren, down to the color, seems pale, the body is full of tendons, the mind becomes apathetic, stagnant, miserable. , sad, repentant, and seeming indifferent. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu friends of Venerable Sudinna said to Venerable Sudinna this:
-This great virtue Sudinna, previously Venerable has the Prime Minister, the radiant radiant base, calm, pure skin, pure. Now, in this moment the great virtue again becomes thin, barren, down to the color, seems pale, the body is full of tendons, the mind becomes apathetic, stagnant, miserable, sad, repentant, and seemingly listless. This great virtue Sudinna, perhaps not great virtue does not delight in practicing Pham Hanh?
Hey, great virtue, it's not that I don't like the practice of virtue that I created evil, I did the couple with my ex-wife. Great virtue, I have started to repent, have started to regret: " It is not beneficial to us! What a benefit it didn't have for me! I have achieved evil! I have not achieved good! Because we have ordained in the Dharma and the Law is so cleverly preached, so we cannot practice pure conduct completely until the end of our life! ”
- Great virtue Sudinna, virtue of repentance is reasonable, regret is reasonable. Because great virtue has been ordained in the Dharma and the Law is so cleverly preached, so it is impossible to practice pure conduct completely until the end of life. This great virtue, not the Blessed One, in many ways, preached the dharma to lead to no more craving, not to lead to craving, taught the dharma to lead to no longer binding, not to lead to attachment, preached the dharma to lead to no more grasping, not to lead to attachment? This great virtue, while the Blessed One preaches the dharma to bring about craving, the greater virtue thinks of craving, preaching the dharma to lead to no more cohesion, the greater virtue thinks of constraint, preaching to lead to the no longer clinging to the greater Germany back to the grasp. This great virtue, not the Blessed One, in many ways, preached the dharma to lead to the lack of craving in craving, to lead to the lack of passion in passions, to curb desires , to eliminate the problems, to cut the cycle of rebirth, to eradicate craving, to take part in craving, to lead to the passing away, to bring to Nirvana? This great virtue, not the Buddha, in many ways, has mentioned renunciation of sex, has mentioned the understanding of desires, mentioned the restraint of craving for sex, has mentioned referring to the eradication of sexual desires, has it mentioned the calming of impulses caused by desire? This great virtue, this incident does not bring confidence to those who do not have faith, or increase the faith of those who have faith. Hey great virtue, moreover this very thing brings unbelief in those who have no faith and changes (beliefs) of some who have faith.
Then, having reprimanded the great virtue Sudinna in many ways, the Bhikkhu khưu had the incident reported to Germany World Religion.
[20] At that time, the Blessed One took advantage of that event and summoned the Bhikkhu khưu assembly and asked Venerable Sudinna:
- Sudinna, heard that you do couples with your ex-wife, right?
- White World Religion, that's right.
The Buddha World Religion rebuked that:
-This crazy guys, it's not right, not reasonable, not nice, not worthy sa-keeper, not allowed, should not do! This foolish man, why have you been ordained in the Dharma and the Law is cleverly preached like this can not practice pure conduct fully until the end of life? This foolish man, not in many ways, he preached the dharma to lead to no more craving, not to lead to craving, taught the dharma to lead to no longer binding, not to give to attachment, taught the sermon to lead to no longer grasping, not to lead to attachment? You foolish man, but here while I preach the sermon to bring out craving, then you think of craving, preach the sermon to bring non-attachment, then you think of attachment , preaching the dharma to bring up clinging, then you think about clinging. This foolish man, not in many ways, he preached the dharma to lead to the lack of craving in craving, to lead to the lack of passion in passions, to curb cravings, to eradicate the entanglement, to cut the cycle of rebirth, to eradicate craving, to take part in the greed, to lead to the passing away, to bring to Nirvana? This foolish man, not in many ways, has mentioned renunciation of sex, has mentioned the understanding of desires, mentioned the restraint of craving for sex, has mentioned referring to the eradication of sexual desires, has it mentioned the calming of impulses caused by desire? You foolish man, it is noble that you put the penis into the mouth of a terrible poisonous snake. but putting the penis in a woman's clitoris is not (noble). You foolish man, it is noble to put the penis in the mouth of the black snake, but putting the penis in the female's clitoris is not (noble). This is foolishness, it is better for you to put your penis in the burning coal pit with a bright fire, and it is not noble, do not put the penis in the female's clitoris is not (noble). How is that possible? Hey folks, because of that cause Don't put the penis in a woman's clitoris to be (noble). How is that possible? Hey folks, because of that cause Don't put the penis in a woman's clitoris to be (noble). How is that possible? Hey folks, because of that cause[6] you may go to death or suffering almost to death, but for no other reason, when you disintegrate your body and die you may be born into unhappiness, suffering, depravity, hell. This is foolishness, indeed for this reason, [7] when the body disintegrates and dies, you may be born into unhappiness, the misery, the land, and hell. You foolish man, but here you are, that is, you are entangled in the union of two people, in pairs, in a private place, is a bad job, is the work of the villagers. , is the work of those who are inferior, are evil, end up using clean water. This foolishness, for the unwholesome dharma you are the first to violate, first of all. This is crazy, this does not bring faith to those who do not have faith, or increase the beliefs of those who have faith. This is crazy, moreover, it is this that brings unbelief in those who have no faith and changes (beliefs) of some who have faith.
Later, when he rebuked Venerable Sudinna in many ways, the Blessed One criticized the difficulty in providing support, the difficulty in eating, the excessive demand, the inadequate knowledge, the teamwork, idleness; and in many ways he praised the ease of support, the ease of eating, the lack of demand, the knowledge, the refusal, the moderation, the harmony, the reduction , effort. He gave sermon appropriate and appropriate for the Bhikkhu khưu then told the Bhikkhu khưu that:
-The Bhikkhu khưu, so then we will regulate the study for the Bhikkhu khưu for ten benefits: In order for the good for the assemblies, to the peace for the assemblies, to suppress the bad evil , to the peaceful residence of the Bhikkhu khưu, to prevent smuggling or in the present, to the eradication of illegal or future, in order to bring trust to those who do not have faith, to increase confidence the profile of those who have faith, to the existence of the Dharma, [8] and to support the Law. And the Bhikkhu khưu, you should disseminate this learning like this: " The Bhikkhu khưu who made the couple is guilty pārājika, not being co-residents. " [9] And this has been prescribed by the Blessed One for such monks.
End of litigation about Sudinna.
[21] At the time, at Mahāvana (Dai Lam) in Vesālī, there was a bhikkhu who tried to seduce the monkey and did a couple work with him. Then in the morning, the Bhikkhu khưu he wore y, holding y bowl, then went into the Vesālī to beg for alms. At the time, many Bhikkhu khưu while walking around the shelter went to stay of the Bhikkhu khưu. The monkey who saw those bhikkhus from afar was walking, after seeing that they had come near them, after having approached, they were shaking their hips in front of them. wagging the tail, bringing out the hips, and making the mark. At that time, the bhikkhus had this idea: " There is no doubt that the bhikkhu does the couple with this monkey.! ” and hid on one side. After that, the Bhikkhu khưu after going alms in the city of Vesālī brought alms food back. At that time, the female monkey went to that bhikkhu. Then the Bhikkhu khưu he used real map that qifu gangui part and give the female monkey part. After that, when he finished eating the qifu gangui, that monkey gave her hips to the bhikkhu. Then, the Bhikkhu khưu he made the couple with the female monkey. After that, the bhikkhus told him this:
-This great Germany, is not what the Blessed has prescribed or what? Hey virtue, why does virtue do this couple work with this monkey?
- Hey virtue, yes. The study was prescribed by the Blessed One and that is with the female, not with the female.
Hey, great virtue, isn't that the case? This great virtue, is not right, not reasonable, not nice, not worthy sa-keeper, not allowed, should not do! This great virtue, why the great virtue after renunciation in France and the Law are cleverly preached like this can not practice pure conduct fully until the end of life? This great virtue, not the Blessed One by many methods of preaching the dharma to lead to the no longer craving, not to lead to craving, ... (as above) ... has mentioned the softness of impulses due to desire? This great virtue, this incident does not bring faith to those who do not have faith, or increase the faith of those who have faith. Hey virtue,
After that, when he rebuked the Bhikkhu khưu by many methods, the Bhikkhu khưu he had reported that incident on Germany World Religion.
[22] At that time, the Blessed One took advantage of that fact and gathered the Bhikkhu khưu assembly and asked the Bhikkhu khưu that:
-Buy khưu, heard you have done the couple with the female monkey, right?
- White World Religion, that's right.
The Buddha World Religion rebuked that:
-This crazy guys, it's not right, not reasonable, not nice, not worthy sa-keeper, not allowed, should not do! This foolish, why after you renunciation in France and the Law is cleverly preached like this can not practice pure conduct fully until the end of life? This foolish man, not in many ways, he has preached the dharma to lead to craving, not to craving, ... (as above) ... mentioned calming of impulses driven by desire? It is noble, you foolish man, to put the penis in the mouth of a terrible poisonous serpent that is noble, but to put the penis into the female monkey's clitoris is not (noble). You foolish man, it is noble that you put a penis into the mouth of a black snake. but putting the penis in the female's clitoris is not (noble). It is foolish, it is wise for you to put your penis in the burning coal pit with a bright flame and it is noble, do not put the penis in the clitoris of the female monkey is not (noble). How is that possible? Hey folks, because of that cause[10] you may end up dying or suffering almost to death, but not for that reason, when you disintegrate and die, you may be reborn in unhappiness, suffering, depravity, hell . This foolish man, indeed due to this cause, [11] when the body disintegrates and dies, you may be born into unhappiness, suffering, depravity, hell. You foolish man, yet here is you, that is, you are entangled in the union of two people, in pairs, in a private place, which is a bad job, is the work of the villagers. , is the work of those who are inferior, are evil, end up using clean water. This is crazy, this incident does not bring confidence to those who do not have faith, ... (as above) ... And the Bhikkhu khưu, you should spread this learning like this: "The Bhikkhu khưu does couples even with female animals is a crime of pārājika, not being plus. " And this study has been prescribed by the Blessed One for such bhikkhus.
End of the monkey story.
[23] At the time, many Bhikkhu khưu group Vajjīputtaka residing in Vesālī was real life at will, sleeping at will, bathing at will. After the real life at will, after having slept at will, after having bathed at will, after having volatile notions, they have done the couple before not leaving the learning and have not expressed weakness (dubbalyaṃ). Later, they were influenced by the unhappiness of their kin, by the misfortune of their possessions, by the unhappiness of their illnesses, so they went to see the great virtue Ānanda and said like this:
- Mr. andananda, we are not those who disparage Buddha, are not those who disparage the Dharma, not those who disparage the Sangha. Mr. andananda, we are those who decry ourselves, who do not disparage others. We ourselves have no luck, we have little merit, we here after renunciation in the Dharma and the Law are cleverly preached like this, we cannot practice pure conduct completely until the end of our life. . Mr. andananda, now if we can attain renunciation in the Buddha's demonstration, we can attain higher-level cultivation, then now we can be Vipassana practitioners, maybe living in attachment to the practices of good dhammas, ie dhammas related to enlightenment at the beginning of the night and at the end of the night. Mr. Ānanda,
- Hey virtue, okay.
Listening to the Vajjīputtaka groups residing in Vesālī, the Venerable Ānanda went to see the Blessed One, after arriving, he reported the incident to the Blessed One.
Hey Ānanda, the Tathagata can cancel what pārājika has been prescribed to the disciples for the reason of the Vajjī or the sons of the Vajjī is unfounded and unreasonable.
[24] After that, the Buddha said that the reason for that event was the sermon and told the bhikkhu:
-The Bhikkhu khưu, Bhikkhu khưu does not yet leave the learning and has not expressed weaknesses that make the couple then the monk was not cultivated to the upper ranks in the future. The Bhikkhu khưu, Bhikkhu khưu public after leaving the learning and after declaring the weakness and then perform the couple, then he was cultivated to the upper ranks in the future.
