ARTICLE  SAṄGHĀDISESA  (INCREASING) FRIDAY:

" People were annoyed at the pleading, annoyed at the request, when they saw the bhikkhus, panicked, scared, dodged, walked away, turned away, closed the door; even when they saw the cow they (mistakenly) thought: " Be a Bhikkhu khưu " and then avoid it.

[497] At that time, Venerable Mahākassapa, experiencing the rainy season in Rājagaha, passed away to Āḷavī, while sequential journeys came to thànhavī. At that place in the city of Āḷavī, Venerable Mahākassapa lived in the tower of Aggāḷava worship. Then in the morning, Venerable Mahākassapa dressed in robes, took the robes of the bowl, went into thànhavī to beg for alms. People when seeing the great virtue Mahākassapa also became frightened, scared, dodged, walked away, turned away, closed the door. After that, when he went begging for alms in the city of đạiavī, Venerable Mahākassapa, who was begging for alms after returning from the meal, told the bhikkhus:

Hey, great virtue, this thànhavī city was formerly abundant, real qifu gangui received quickly, and easily lived by the alms effort. Currently, this city of Āḷavī does indeed have difficulty in real things, qifu gangui get difficult, and not easily live by the alms effort. Hey the great virtue, by what cause, what causes this thànhavī city has the difficulty of real things, qifu gangui get difficult, and not easy to live by the efforts of alms?

Meanwhile, the Bhikkhu khưu he recounted the incident to the great Germany Mahākassapa.

(as above) ..., should not do! Hey folks, why are you asking for (materials) and then building the bureaucratic cups with no benefactors, for yourself, not according to the size, and those bureaucrats have not yet reached the completion. . You live here with lots of pleas, many requests: " Give alms to men, alms to laborers, alms to cattle, alms of sleds, alms of axes, alms of hammers , alms hoe, alms shovel, alms blade, alms vines, alms bamboo, alms grass muñja, alms pabbaja grass, alms grass, alms soil lightning ”? Foolish men, this does not bring faith to those who don't have faith, ... (as above) ... and changes (beliefs) of some who have faith.

Then, when he rebuked the Bhikkhu khưu in the city of Āḷavī by many methods, ... (as above) ... the Buddha had preached the Dharma dialogues appropriate and suitable for the Bhikkhu khưu then told the Bhikkhu khưu that:

[499] -The Bhikkhu khưu, in the previous time there were two hermit brothers who rely on the river Gaṅgā. Bhikkhus, then the dragon lord Maṇikaṇṭha  [1]  crossed the Gaṅgā river and went to meet the young hermit, after arriving, he used the body parts to wrap around the young hermit seven times and then inflated. wear on the head (he) and remain. The Bhikkhu khưu, and then due to the fear of that dragon the young hermit has become thin, barren, down to the colors, looks pale, the body is full of tendons. The Bhikkhu khưu, the old hermit saw the young hermit sick, o barren, down to the colors, looks pale, the body is full of tendons, after seeing told the young hermit age this:

The Bhikkhu khưu, then the dragon lord Ma (ikaṇṭha (think): " The Bhikkhu khưu please jewel ma-ni, the Bhikkhu khưu need jewel ma-ni " and then leave, while leaving like that did not come back again.

Do not ask for the hope
of your beloved,
for the excessive petition
becomes hated.
Brahmin pleaded with the
dragon king to
be not seen anymore,
because the dragon had left.

The Bhikkhu khưu, because the pleading is not to be happy, the request is not to be wedding to beings that are animals, then what will be for humans?

[500] The Bhikkhu khưu, in the old days there were other Bhikkhu khưu living in the jungle on the mountain slopes of the Himalayas. The Bhikkhu khưu, not far from the jungle there is a large and deep lagoon. The Bhikkhu khưu, there are large flocks of birds in the daytime to go eat in that lagoon and at night go to the refuge in the jungle. The Bhikkhu khưu, then the Bhikkhu khưu he was disturbed by the sound of the birds went to see me, after coming to pay homage to me and then sit down at one side. The Bhikkhu khưu, then we told the Bhikkhu khưu sitting on one side of this:

"

Hey Raṭṭhapāla,

they still come
and ask me again,
why don't you ask me?

(The noble son Raāhapāla replied that):

The one who asks no one likes,
being asked not to give
nor desiring;
precisely for that reason,
I do not beg him
not to hate me.

The Bhikkhu khưu, Raṭṭhapāla the son of the honorable family also told his father like that, who will he say anything else?

[502] The Bhikkhu khưu, for those at home the hard earned property, the accumulated accumulated hardship. You foolish people, but there you live in pleading, there are many requests for hard earned assets, accumulated things are stored so hard. that): " Give alms to men, alms to labor, alms to cattle, alms of rickshaws, alms of axes, alms of axes, alms of hammers, alms of shovels, alms alms blade opaque, alms vines, alms bamboo, alms muñja, alms pabbaja grass, alms grass, alms clay . " Hey folks, this incident does not bring faith to those who don't have faith, ... (as above) ... And hey bhikkhus, you should spread this learning like this: "The Bhikkhu khưu self (materials) and then while building the bureaucratic cup without benefactors, for themselves, they should follow the size. Here, this size is the length of twelve gangs according to the hands of Compassion, [2]  the width of seven gangs inside, and should lead the bhikkhus to determine the site. The Bhikkhu khưu should determine the area is no obstacles, there are gaps around. If the bhikkhu asks for his own (material) and then constructs the bureaucracy for himself in the obstructed ground, there is no space around him, or does not lead the bhikkhus to determine the site, or exceeding the size of the crime saṅghādisesa (increased museum).

If the whole congregation is capable of going to see the bureaucracy land then (the land) should be considered by the whole assembly. If the whole congregation is unable to examine the bureaucratic land, then at that place, the bhikkhus are experienced, capable enough to know whether there are obstacles or there are no obstacles, there are gaps. or no gaps, they should be requested and appointed. And the Bhikkhu khưu, should specify like this:

Later in the evening, Venerable Dabba Mallaputta came out of meditation and went to see the Blessed One, after having paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down at one side. When he sat down on one side, Venerable Dabba Mallaputta said to the Blessed One:

- Sir, please. Venerable Dabba Mallaputta responded to the Blessed One.

Some elders answered like this:

- Hey the great virtue, we have liquid butter, cooking oil, delicious food.

Mettiya and Bhummajaka group Bhikkhus say this:

Hey, great virtue, we have not received anything, just normal things according to our ability including broken rice and the second dish is sour porridge.

[545] At that time, there was a homeowner who had a good meal often offered to the assembly a four-part meal as a regular meal. He and his wife and children often present and serve in the cafeteria. They offered these to the rice, offered the other soup, offered them cooking oil, and offered other good meals.

At that time, the next day's meal by the owner of a good meal was arranged for the Mettiya and Bhummajaka bhikkhus. That day, the homeowner who had a good meal went to the monastery by some work. He went to Venerable Dabba Mallaputta, and then came to Dabba Mallaputta and then sat down at one side. Venerable Dabba Mallaputta taught, awakened, encouraged, and excited the homeowner who had a good meal sitting on one side with Dharma talks. Then, when the Venerable Dabba Mallaputta taught, awakened, encouraged, and created excitement with Dharma talks, the owner of a good meal told Venerable Dabba Mallaputta this:

- Sir, what is our meal tomorrow for?

-Home owner, tomorrow's meal at the home of the host has been arranged for the Bhikkhu khưu group Mettiya and Bhummajaka.

At that time, the homeowner who had a good meal was not satisfied (thinking): " Why are the poor bhikkhus real in our homes ?" and went home and told his servant,

Hey son, make a reservation at the warehouse for you to come to tomorrow and offer them broken rice and the second dish is sour porridge.

- Master, yes. The servant girl responded to the owner for a delicious meal.

At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu group Mettiya and Bhummajaka (discussed that): " Great virtue, yesterday the meal of the homeowner who had a good meal was arranged for us. Tomorrow, the homeowner who has a good meal with his wife and children will be present and serving us. They will offer these to you rice, they will offer to you the soup, they will give you the oil, and they will give you the other good meals . ” Because of that very joyous mind, at night they could not sleep as expected.

Later in the morning, the Mettiya and Bhummajaka bhikkhus dressed in robes, holding robes and bowls, went to the home of the homeowner who had a good meal. The servant girl saw Mettiya and Bhummajaka group bhikkhus from afar walking away, after seeing that they had reserved seats in the warehouse and told Mettiya and Bhummajaka group bhikkhus:

- Sirs, please sit down.

At that time, the Mettiya and Bhummajaka bhikkhus had this idea: "The meal has not been completed until now, so we are allowed to sit in the warehouse like this !" After that, the servant returned with broken rice and the second was sour soup (saying):

- Sirs, please be real.

Hey sister, we are regular meal recipients.

- I know the great virtues are the recipients of regular meals. However, it was yesterday that I was told by the owner, " Please make a reservation at the warehouse for you to come to tomorrow's real life and offer them broken rice and the second dish is sour porridge ." Sirs, please be real.

At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu group Mettiya and Bhummajaka (discussed that): " Great virtue, yesterday the owner had a good meal went to the monastery to meet Dabba Mallaputta. Surely we have been interrupted by the owner of the cockroach Dabba Mallaputta ! ” Because of that frustrating mind, they did not live as intended. Later, upon returning from the real meal after the meal, the Mettiya and Bhummajaka bhikkhus went to the monastery, abandoned the bowl, and sat down to hug their knees with double-layer robes (saṅghāṭipallatthikāya) outside the gate. in and out of the monastery, silent, ashamed, shrugged, face down, pensive, speechless.

[546] At that time, Mettiyā Bhikkhu khưu went to meet the Mettiya and Bhummajaka group Bhikkhu, after arriving told the Mettiya and Bhummajaka group Bhikkhus:

[547] At that time, the Blessed One took advantage of that event and summoned the Bhikkhu khưu assembly and asked the great Venerable Dabba Mallaputta:

-Dabba, do you remember that you were the one who did that, like this bhikkhu had just said?

- Bach himself, how did the Blessed One know that well.

By the third time, the Blessed One asked Venerable Dabba Mallaputta that:

-Dabba, do you remember that you were the one who did that, like this bhikkhu had just said?

- Bach himself, how did the Blessed One know that well.

Hey Dabba, the (lineage) Dabba doesn't deny that. If you do, say, " Do ;" If you don't do it, say, " Don't do it ."

- Sir, from the time I was born, I never saw myself as a bridge-seeker even during sleep, let alone awakening.

Meanwhile, Germany World Religion told the Bhikkhu khưu that:

-The Bhikkhu khưu, precisely because of that you please expel Bhikkhu khưu ni Mettiyā and question the Bhikkhu khưu.

After that, the Bhikkhu khưu had expelled Bhikkhu khưu ni Mettiyā. Mettiya and Bhummajaka, the bhikkhus, said to them:

Hey, great virtue, do not expel Mettiyā khưu Bhikkhu, she did not do anything wrong. Because we are angry, unsatisfied, intending to eliminate, so incite her.

Hey, the great virtue, are you smearing the great virtue Dabba Mallaputta on the crime of  pārājika  (no real head) with no cause?

- Hey virtue, yes.

The Bhikkhu khưu low libido, ... (as above) ..., they complain, criticize, decry that:
