The Bodhisattva precepts always look to the beings in the sufferings that sentient beings suffer. These sufferings, I also have to suffer, but those who do not have Bodhicitta do not know. By the suffering of one that sympathizes with the suffering of others; by the desire of one that sympathizes with the will of others; Therefore, if we want to live without knowing the other, we want to be happy without regard to the other. Because of the lack of Bodhicitta, there is no universal sympathy for which the term Buddhist language is called compassion. The Bodhisattva precepts always bring the Bodhi mind to sympathize with all sentient beings through the peaceful side of suffering, to help them all. That is the weakness of Bodhi mind, the Bodhisattva precepts.
