How to nurture monastic mind when encountering obstacles. Many young monastics have asked me, how to overcome the low needs of everyday life and fully follow the path you have chosen? I answered them that the monastic consciousness has never left me to go. Those who have left the home life but the monastic consciousness is absent, they will inevitably encounter accidents and mishaps in their monastic life. I ordained not from any force, but from my clear consciousness. So right there we have freedom and happiness, rather than waiting until we are fully ordained and have a reputation in the church and in the world. Enlightenment at Phuoc Long Pagoda, Tay Son, Binh Dinh There are famous monastics in the church and in the real world, but they do not necessarily have freedom and happiness. The happiness of the monastic is not fame but living fully in both body and mind in that monastic life. And the freedom of the monastic is not the kind of freedom that belongs to the political consciousness but the enlightened consciousness. Being aware of the world's impermanence, don't start clinging to whatever is present in that impermanence. Be aware that all desires are evil, so don't run after them. Being aware that the monastic career is wisdom, not fame and worldly possessions, so day and night practice the precepts of concentration tirelessly. Being aware of the laziness of studying sutras, rules, commentaries, chanting, reciting the Buddha's name, bowing to the Buddha, sitting in meditation, and doing other beneficial works that bring happiness to many people is not a person's life. ordained. Realizing that ignorance makes us confused, Afflictions bind us to a life of suffering, so we strive to learn to transform ignorance and cut off afflictions. Aware that anger and blame on others, only create more trouble and suffering for oneself, should always practice compassion and equanimity. Aware that the precepts of concentration are the most valuable assets of the monastic, so wherever he goes, he is willing to share with anyone without regret. Aware that, the great mind of the monastic is bodhicitta; The great vow of the monastic is not to enjoy personal happiness, but to practice for the benefit of everyone, and all species; and the great conduct of the monastic is to practice all good deeds with a mind of no self. If these consciousnesses are always lit in the life of the monastic, then the monastic will not be assimilated by the world, but on the contrary, they have the ability to transform the lower needs of people in everyday life. The happiness of the monastic life has come to me from that consciousness.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.1/2/2023.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
