The Buddha taught the Dharma.

The Buddha is not a politician, he does not advocate the economic situation, setting up state regulations, building the legal system. The Buddha is a guru, a spiritual, a spiritual, and an educator. He extends the scope of contribution to all sentient beings, not limited to a nation or nation.

His direction and policy are based on morality and spirituality rather than politics, power and wisdom of the self. His only purpose is to bring happiness and happiness to all sentient beings. For the national leaders of the country, his teachings help them bring happiness and harmony to the people.

In the Sutra (Chapter Four of Dhamma, Merit of Merit), the Buddha has mentioned the role of the leader of an organization or a nation as follows: "When the herd of wading rivers / In the human / the most viewed / If the illegal / What other people say / The country is suffering / If the king living illegally / When the cows go in the right direction / The whole line is in the right direction / Because the right line / The same in the human / The supremacist / If the legal right / What other people say / The country be happy / If the king lives properly.

The shelf shows the role of the leader is to lead and guide. If the leader is a talented and ethical person, giving positive directions, in the right direction and having benefits for the country, the people will live happily and happily in that country. increasingly prosperous, peaceful. On the contrary, if the leader has an "illegal business" (inability and ethical conduct), erroneous direction will inevitably involve innumerable negative things. (See Sutra, vol. 6, The King's Introduction).

In Chapter I, the Buddha said that if a leader, having power but low moral qualities, would bring himself and others into the door of death. You or the man / Tea, pepper / Charge / Placement, power / Entrance door to death "," Proud family / Property, lineage / Contempt of others / Is the door to defeat death ". Sutra (Story of Janasandha), the Buddha taught: "A king must be wise; in all the affairs of a king, to the people as a parent to the child, renounce all evil deeds. When a true king, my grandfather also imitate.

In the Jàkata, the Buddha also mentions the ten qualities required by a national leader to rule for the good of the country, called the Jains. (1) There must be a noble, noble temperament. people, not themselves; 2-Living virtue and leading the people to live virtuous; 3-Willing to sacrifice personal benefits for the people, for water; 4-Honesty and integrity, righteousness, integrity; 5-Kindness, virtue, behavior, harmony, compassion for everyone; 6-living high bar, simple, no resentment, retreat; 7-Perform non-violent action, do not harm anyone; 8-Have patience, patience; 9-Take the heart of people as the root, put the people first; 10-Respect national harmony and world peace. These are not only the qualities a king needs, but also the qualities of the head of government and leaders of ministries,

The ten qualities of an emperor, nobleman, or good leader are mentioned in many sutras, especially in the Sutras. Leadership quality: 1-Giving, charity, tolerance, tolerance (in the governance of the country, this is reflected in the welfare policy, social welfare); 2-Ethics, keeping moral (keep the precepts: no killing, no stealing, no sexual mischief, no lie, no alcohol); 3-tolerance, generosity, sacrifice; 4-Integrity, honesty, integrity, justice; 5-Peaceful; 6. Simplicity, simplicity (not immersed in enjoyment, unhappy, not luxurious, know how to control the desire, desire); 7-No anger (no sowing grudge against anyone, not jealous, jealousy, hate); 8-Peaceful love (no war, compassion, non-violence); 9-tolerance, tolerance; 10-Prosperous people.

In the Sàma section, the Buddha taught about the ten duties that a wise king must do (also referred to as the Dafa). If he did well, the king would not only be good leader of his country, but also be born to heaven after death. They are: 1-Obligations to parents; 2-Obligation to wife and children; 3-Duties to the body by means of; 4-Duties to the police; 5. The duty to the soldiers; 6. The duty to civil servants; interest in government agencies and people's lives; 7-Obligations to those who are close friends; 8-Duties to the pure cultivators, noble virtue, the artist, talented; 9-Duties to the recluse, the virtues that are hidden (censorship, support and invite them to help the country, ask the water); 10-Know love, protect animals, ecological environment.

In the second stage of the sutra, the Buddha also taught: "The good leader must know how to behave (without prejudice, self esteem, not injustice). money is bribed or terrified of power, power); not sow hatred among the people; do not hesitate to apply the law when necessary; Have a clear understanding of the law when applied. The law does not apply only because he has authority, but must be applied accordingly and reasonably. "

Not all people have the noble ideals of spiritual life leading to enlightenment, liberation, so depending on the level that the Buddha speaks the Dharma, including the dhamma brings peace to the secular life. now and future. So when there is a national leader asking for opinions on social and national issues, the Buddha also voices his views on national security policy and on solving social problems. He sees it as an opportunity for moralists, spiritualists and educators to bring peacefulness and happiness to the people in a different way.

Although not a politician, not a sociologist, but the view of the Buddha is very clear and thorough, his opinion is useful, strategic vision is very home Leadership concerns. For example, in the Siddhartha-first Sutta (The First Sutra, No. 5), the Buddha stated his views on leadership as follows: livestock, give royal family the seeds and plants; Which of the king's efforts for business, Sun to give those who invested; Which of the king's efforts to the official, Sun to give those people real food and wages. These people are dedicated to their own profession will not interfere with the king's country, and the king's budget will be plentiful, the country will be occupied,

In another sutta, the Buddha says that poverty is the main cause of robbery, cruelty, hatred, violence, and immoral behavior. Therefore, only measures to improve the economy, poverty reduction and education of knowledge and ethics will prevent and reduce social evils. Punishments such as executions, trespassing, imprisonment, exile, slavery ... are not effective, can not contain social vices and political instability (Truong Dynasty II, # 26).

The Buddha also states seven conditions of prosperity of a country as follows: 1-Frequently meeting and meeting. 2-meeting, dissolved in the spirit of solidarity. 3-No promulgated laws have not been promulgated; Not to abolish existing laws, respect and preserve the precious traditions. 4-Honor the elders. 5-There are no injustices, respect for women. 6-worship, remember the merit of the ancestors, the merit. 7-Revered, held, imitation of the holy. These are the factors that make up the flourishing of a nation (Chapter III, Chapter Seven).

On the way to lead, manage and run an organization, to benefit the masses, the Buddha taught four methods of photographic (four): gift; Idiomatic; Photography; Fellow photography These four methods of photography can be used individually or in a coordinated manner.

Indeed, if the application of the Buddha's teachings is to be applied, the sovereign is the benevolent, merciful, wise man who has the power of all peoples, to take care of the unpopular country. When all people love the homeland, they honor, love the leaders, soldiers for the country; When the military and the people unite in one heart, the policies and the state of the heart of the people and the society of peace and prosperity, the political stability, strong, powerful country. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRLIA.SYDNEY.18/12/2017.
